This notice describes the student and college account data the Apfio website is built to collect. It is a working stub, not a substitute for a later formal policy review.
Information we collect
Student registration collects first name, last name, email, and a password. College portal login uses the credentials issued to that institution. Optional profile fields such as phone may be stored if you add them.
Cookies and sessions
Authentication uses httpOnly session cookies. In production those cookies are scoped to the parent domain so login on www.myapfio.com can reach the API host. We do not use those cookies to enable checkout while purchase remains coming soon.
How we use information
Account data is used to sign you in, send verification or password-reset email, and show subscription or code status in the dashboard after launch. Public pages may include anonymized structured data for search and answer engines.
What we do not claim here
This page does not assert a specific compliance certification. When checkout opens, we will update this notice with payment-processor details and a contact path for privacy requests.
